Mr. Muhammad Atiq is a seasoned Trainer, Consultant & Entrepreneur, and expert in Capacity Building and Sustainability programs. He is a Training Material Development & Legislation expert with an MPhil in Industrial Management and a Master of Science degree in Physics from Pakistan. Additionally, he holds certifications as a Human Resource Manager and labor Laws Specialist and has a Corporate Law degree from the Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan (ICSP). He is also certified as a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 by SGS Pakistan, a Better Work Trainer (ILO), a SCORE Trainer (ILO), and a FIT Trainer.

With over 23 years of industry experience, Mr. Atiq has focused on areas such as systems development, productivity improvements, human resources, labor laws, and social compliance. He has conducted health & safety training exclusively in the textile Sector under the auspices of the ILO and has trained factories to enhance the effectiveness of the Workers-Management Council. He has worked with USAID on certifications and grants projects for SMEs in Pakistan. He has consulting experience with ISO certification in different industries and sectors.

Mr. Atiq possesses a deep understanding of the challenges and needs of the textile sector in Pakistan, following his work for the ILO on projects like SCORE and Better Work. He notably assessed and built the capacity of workers-management councils, and assisted the negotiation of CBAs.
